Throughout the spring of 2019, Principal Vroman had the pleasure of engaging with students and families at each feeder school about uniform options for our founding year. In these sessions, she learned that students valued choice and options and that parents, at all four schools, strongly preferred a uniform over non-uniform. We believe in including family and community feedback as we shape policy for our new school. Over 77% of respondents on an online survey and multiple in-person meetings favored a uniform. As such, we have launched with a uniform with a few options as we work to both honor and respect family feedback, but also seek to build an environment and culture for students that values choice. Please see uniform options below for all students: 

TOPS: navy, light blue or white collared tops (polo shirts) or school t-shirts

BOTTOMS: navy or khaki bottoms

FRIDAYS: Every Friday will be a Free Dress Friday. Dress code rules are shared with students.

We feel this is the right compromise for uniform for our founding year and we will continue to re-evaluate uniform policy with our school community in the future. Thank you for your feedback and input on our uniform for this year.
